Culinary Crusade
For this upcoming video game project, I worked as a part of the sound design team. I composed, recorded and produced the soundtrack and key sound design elements, as well as co-leading the sound implementation. As a part of this process I worked with a small brass and woodwind ensemble as well as recording instrumentation performed by myself. The brief provided was to create a soundtrack that blended vintage paranormal horror with the compositional structures of big band and ska music.
Implementation wise. I aimed to create an immersive and dynamic score. I took key compositional elements from the genres and styles provided to me in the brief and implemented them in a way that allowed the pieces to evolve and change depending on how the player / players interacted with the game.
