Spring Menu

This project is an upcoming short film, I will be exploring the creative process of food preparation in a culinary setting. This will be through the lens of a chef creating a ‘Spring Menu’ (A menu focused on spring seasonal produce). The film will be less focused on telling a linear story and more on providing an internal perspective on human creativity and the development and recontextualization of the outside world into a creative practice. This will be done using montage and visual collage. The film will focus on excerpts of the protagonist exploring various environments, trying food and developing ideas, interspersed with footage and imagery representing their inner psyche. I will be producing both the audio and filming this project.
